George Papandreou’s Condolences Message for the death of Pope John Paul II

PASOK — The President of PASOK visited the Vatican Embassy in Athens and wrote the following in the condolences book that has been opened:
 
“Our condolences for the loss of Pope john Paul II. In a time of change, he was a beacon of humanity and dialogue between cultures. I value tremendously his work in terms of bringing together the orthodox and catholic churches. His work will remain a great heritage for humankind and peace.”
