"George Papandreou has not stopped being himself," wrote Mr. Mitropoulos. "Over the past twelve months,... he has remained true to his beliefs. The top leadership position of his party has not changed him. This is all very important now as Parliament will come to session. It is clear that if George Papandreou is to succeed, he will do so his way. And everyone else will have to adjust, even if they suffer a few nervous breakdowns in-between."
